We do not cast for roles that require nudity or sexual intimacy; however, some roles do require mild public displays of affection like holding hands, tightly hugging, cuddling, kissing, etc.
It is our policy and standard not to cast a married person in a role that would require them to show public displays of affection (PDA) to anyone other than their spouse.
If you are married and want to request an audience for a role that requires PDA, you may do so if your spouse agrees to audition to be cast for the role opposite you.
Why is this our policy?
We have seen many marriages destroyed because of roles people have played in film and television. Our mission is to change lives through entertainment, not destroy them.
We know that you have the right to decide what roles you want to apply for, but it is our right as a network to set standards and policies that reflect our values. We value our members, your families, and keeping a positive network environment and casting experience.
